Gender stereotypes have never been so entrenched, constantly reinforced by social media, marketing materials, and the media.    

Gender is one of the essential parts of our identity as human beings and as such, needs to be part of our self-reflection for us to work effectively and ethically with our clients in general, and gender diverse clients in particular.    

Together, we will go on a short journey to start exploring what gender means to us, what roles were modelled for us, how and by who.    

This is an experiential workshop, where you will be invited to challenge yourself and deeply reflect on what gender means to you.    

In this workshop, we will think about assumptions, unconscious bias and the impact of minority stress on the well-being and safety of gender diverse people.    Isa will give some pointers for further reflection and information.
