About me - I have had an extensive training in Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology in Italy, my home country, where I got my highest qualifications and the license to practice as Psychologist in 1995. Since then, I've always worked in the mental health field, overseas. After spending years living in Canada and the U.S., my family and I moved to the UK, where I have chosen to focus on my private practice in Coventry and Warwickshire. My practice - I offer Counselling, short and long-term Integrative Psychotherapy focused on Transactional Analysis (TA) which can be considered a bona fide and evidence-based treatment for a wide range of clients and psychological issues. In particular, as a CTA (Certified Transactional Analyst), I help my clients in developing constructive ego states, improving self-efficacy, and social functioning, thanks to the therapeutic alliance and the mutual agreement to work together on tasks related to their well-being. Having a deep interest in cross-cultural psychology, I do love working with multi-ethnic people. I use to work with individuals and couples of all ages, ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, communities, and spiritual traditions. I have a warm and conversational approach. I offer a confidential, safe, and compassionate space to support you while we work together exploring and gaining insights into your thoughts, feelings, and behavioural patterns. I believe talking therapy is a powerful tool that allows you to pause, to think, to feel and gain insight into the narrative you have written about who you are and who you are with others. I use my own life experience to bring empathy and potency to my work and the therapeutic relationship. I sit alongside you in the process and work at your pace. Each week sessions can be focussed on what you need support with or issue you wish to explore, we discuss what’s happening in the present and the past, or we can discuss something unexpected that has come up that week. Mental health is no longer a societal taboo and now considered a priority in life. I have always had avid interest in how we have come to be the way we are. I continue to learn and develop my theoretical and practical toolkit to be an effective and skilled Practitioner.

I am a fully qualified UKCP registered Adult, Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist, Yoga teacher and Mindfulness Meditation Practitioner. I see people with a broad range of issues such as; anxiety, depression, panic attacks, low self esteem etc. I work on an open ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling people to explore and work through their difficulties.

I will help you to identify negative behaviour and thoughts and develop new, more positive methods to deal with stress and mental discomfort, gain more confidence and self-esteem, and create a deeper connection with yourself and others. My background is in counselling and psychotherapy, training, adult online learning, neurodiversity, coaching and mentoring, knowledge and experience that I integrate into the sessions. - Transactional Analysis psychotherapy: helping you to become more aware of the present moment, so you can make a more informed decision about your behaviour and reactions, and fully connect with yourself and others. - Transformational Coaching: unlocking your full potential and empowering you to live the life you have always desired.

At my private practice in St Leonards and Bexhill, I work with adults on a one-to-one basis, either in-person or on-line. I offer sessions during the day, early evening and weekends to accommodate clients with work commitments, this is subject to availability. I have worked in a number of voluntary organisations, including Care For The Carers and CRUSE Bereavement Care. I also have a corporate background, which complements my work as a therapeutic counsellor. I am committed to undertaking a continuous program of counselling and psychotherapy training and development to support my ongoing skills, knowledge and experience. I have studied with the National Centre for Eating Disorders and achieved the Practitioner Skills For Eating Disorders Diploma, approved by the British Psychological Society. I hold Level 2 (practionioner) certification in Applied Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), which is often referred to as psychological acupressure or a modern meridian therapy, to bring about emotional healing and relieve many physical symptoms. I am committed to providing an empathetic, inclusive and non-judgmental environment in which our therapeutic relationship can grow. By creating a safe supportive space we can work together to allow you to comfortably explore challenges which may be impacting your well-being.

I work with adults and have a special interest in mens mental health and mens work. I of course work with men and women in longer term therapay.

My approach to therapy primarily involves the use of Transactional Analysis, combined with elements from various modalities where suitable. My origins are in London and the south coast of England but I moved progressively north basing myself in Perth, Scotland since 1997. After graduating I worked in IT before ill health forced a change in pace. I came to therapy through a desire to understand the struggles I have within myself and with others, and to make more sense of this fantastic world I live in. As a therapist, my intention is to provide a safe and stretching space where we can explore your life, gain insight, develop coping strategies and support your personal development. I facilitate a relationally-based, quality psychotherapy for individuals, couples and groups. I have run a psychotherapy practice since 1997, a supervisory practice since 2008 and a transformational coaching practice since 2017. I am also certified as an Integral Psychotherapist (2014-15) and have spent a year learning Bioenergetics in the Czech Republic (2019). I have practised and taught yoga/meditation since 1983 and also teach a hybrid of Classical and modern Tantra worldwide. I am integrally informed. My name is Yvonne Fieldhouse, and I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can open up, explore, and work through problems in a confidential environment. I have experience working with young people and adults, supporting them with bereavement, relationship difficulties, work-related issues, anxiety, depression, anger, self-criticism and lack of self-belief. I am a qualified counsellor with a Diploma in Counselling using Transactional Analysis. Transactional Analysis can help people find effective ways to communicate and eliminate unhelpful thoughts, feelings, and actions. It can help people take responsibility for their beliefs and actions and can be applied to many problems. I am a UKATA and registered member of BCAP, and I adhere to their Code of Ethics. I hold professional indemnity insurance for the work I do.

I have over 40 years experience in counselling, psychotherapy, Training and Supervision. I have worked as a trainer and supervisor in several large training institutes and contractually worked with dozens of trainees through successful CTA exams, TEW preparation, PTSTA contracts and TSTA exams. In clinical practice I work developmentally with individuals couple families and group therapy. Currently only on line. I offer a free 30 minute meeting to assess if we can work together followed by an assessment session and potential initial contract. I have developed an integrative and co creative approach and model which is unique to each individual I work with.
