The Transactional Analysis Foundation Certificate is both a stand-alone course and the first year for those wanting to progress to our Diploma in Counselling (Level 6) and Psychotherapy training (Level 7). The course is taught once a month over ten weekends. 

The Transactional Analysis Foundation Certificate will provide trainees with in-depth theoretical knowledge of the fundamentals of Transactional Analysis (TA). In addition to being a well established and internationally recognised modality, these TA principles can be applied to benefit a range of areas including personal development, coaching, management, parenting and education. 

Teaching will be interactive, with taught elements, case examples, and experiential exercises. Groups will usually be limited to 20 participants. 

Following this foundational year of training, trainees wishing to work in the counselling and psychotherapy sectors will have the opportunity to progress and achieve further qualifications in TA with our counselling (advanced TA) and psychotherapy training.  

On completion of this course successful participants will be awarded a Foundation Certificate in TA Theory. 

We are offering two courses for the next intake (Oct 2024). One will be delivered at our training rooms in Plumpton, East Sussex and the other will be fully online via Zoom.
