About the event

In CCTA transference is viewed as a way of experiencing something in the here and now that is rooted in the past.

Transference experiences are viewed as phenomenologically real, for e.g. wanting the professional other to be the loving, responsive parent and seeing them as that is no less real a desire for it being projected and transferential. Transference is viewed as something that can become a shared source of enquiry, exploration and meaning-making. (Tudor and Summers, 2014).

We look forward to exploring this together with you.

The workshop will be interactive and include the use of breakout groups.
