Transactional Analysis is often celebrated for its relational and developmental depth — but at its core, it’s also a powerful cognitive model. In this seminar, we’ll zoom in on the thinking structures that underpin TA theory and explore how this cognitive lens can sharpen our practice. Whether you’re new to TA or have been swimming in ego states for a while, this session invites you to consider:

  • What makes TA a cognitive model — and why that matters

  • How clients’ internal scripts shape their beliefs, behaviours, and sense of self

  • How we can work with these structures without becoming mechanistic or overly directive
