UKATA National Conference: Cancellation/Refunds Policy

We are determined to bring our community back Together Again, but our national gathering does not function without delegates and the income we raise from ticket sales in advance of the event.  Whilst you are making your decision about whether or not to attend the Conference in 2022, we wish to provide you with every confidence that steps are being taken to protect ticket holders should the event be impacted negatively by Covid-19; including protection from financial penalty.

Our first choice is to hold an ‘in person’ event, and we are working closely with the conference venue to ensure that necessary actions are being carried out to comply with the regulations governing events, as they apply in April 2022.  If circumstances prevent us from going ahead on in person, we will wherever possible move the event to an on-line platform.

Our general cancellation and refund policy is outlined below, but if the planned event cannot go ahead in April 2022, in addition to the below, we will offer ticket holders the opportunity to join us at the ‘on-line’ event, with a partial refund to compensate for the difference in ticket price.

Delegate Cancellation*:

Cancellations up to 31 December 2021, 100% refund, less £30.00 administration charge.

Cancellation January 2022: 50% refund

Cancellation February 2022: 25% refund

Cancellation March, April 2022: 0% refund

UKATA Cancellation of ‘In-Person’ event:

100% refund

*in the event that an individual delegate is exhibiting symptoms of Covid-19 at the date of the event or has been inadvertently impacted by government-imposed quarantine or isolation requirements, evidenced cases for exemption from the Cancellation Policy will be considered for a full refund of the purchased ticket price.
