In his workshop Richard Erskine will present a six-point Treatment Plan in the psychotherapy of clients who engage in obsession, habitual worrying, and repetitive fantasising.

Dr. Erskine will describe the psychological functions, script beliefs, processes of avoidance, archaic experiences, relational-needs, and self-responsibility that are essential dimensions in the psychotherapy for clients who obsess, worry habitually, and fantasize repeatedly. The methods of cognitive understanding, behavioural change, affective expression, and a relational psychotherapy will be applied in the treatment planning.

It is recommended that participants prepare for this workshop by reading Dr. Erskine’s book: The Art and Science of Relationship: The Practice of Integrative Psychotherapy available from www.firingthemind.com
