TA East London Institute offers an intersectional lens across all aspects of counselling and psychotherapy training. TA East aims to offer a relevant and current training, challenging normative theory and practise. We are delighted to be offering a Clinical supervision course with an intersectional lens, that takes account of internal and systemic oppression and considers a radical and needed approach to supervision. Central to TA East is a cultural narrative inviting each member to tell their cultural story, thus identifying their intersectional identity inviting radical openness and non-defended dialogue, locating the oppressor, and oppressed within our identities. Thus, setting the scene for robust anti-discriminative practise.
