Schedule:
9.30am to 4pm, with a short morning and afternoon break and a 45-minute lunch break. You can count hours in the group as supervision or training, depending on how you use your time in the group.
Each day is tailored to meet group members’ needs and requests. The group will communicate in advance of each Professional Development Day what they would like to include in the day’s agenda.
Aims:
- Creation of a community of supportive practitioners from a range of counselling and psychotherapeutic modalities.
- Ongoing stimulus, support, feedback and the development of meaningful and significant professional relationships with colleagues. Continuing professional development (CPD)
- Discussion and development of transactional analysis theories, and their integration with theoretical approaches from a range of therapeutic modalities.
- Supervision of clinical practice, ethics, training and professional issues.
- Development of training programmes and workshops.
- Discussion and practise of approaches to supervision.
- Preparation for examination and accreditation by professional bodies.
Membership fee:
- £60 per day when signing up for a minimum of 3 days,
- £55 per day when signing up for 4 days or more.
This will be a closed group, so when signing up to join you’ll commit to paying for membership, not attendance. The membership fee is based on the number of sessions you commit to attend and can be paid in instalments on the day of each Professional Development Group meeting.
