5 day course (9th January 2023, 23rd January, 13th February, 27th February and 13th March). Models of trauma will be discussed and therapeutic tools and techniques will be used. This experiential 5 day certificate will look at the effects of compassion fatigue, secondary trauma and how we as practitioners need to look after ourselves when working in this area. The aim is to enable people working with children and/or adults to be able to respond effectively to their client's trauma.
