Whether you are interested in learning more about the theory and practice of CCTA, wanting to deepen your understanding of the theory or improve your practice, there will be sessions appropriate for you as the conference will cater for different levels of knowledge and practice. In addition to the plenary sessions there will be workshops on many aspects of CCTA, including the four tenets (we-ness, shared responsibility, present centred relating and mutual positive regard), transferential transactions (the “diamond”), integrating Adult, healthy symbiosis, empathy, belonging, co-creative Script, supervision, transformational learning and change, positive Games, non-defensiveness, CCTA in time of war and empathy.
The encounter is being facilitated and delivered by four TA practitioners who have been using and developing CCTA theory and practice for many years, so the event itself will be a co-created experience which you will be invited into, and there will be a wealth of experience to support your learning.
The event starts with a gathering of delegates for full evening dinner at the venue in the centre of Ipswich on Friday evening (14th June) and concludes with lunch on Monday (17th June). The event fee of £325 (Early bird, until 17 March: £275) includes Friday evening dinner and Saturday, Sunday and Monday lunches as well as tea break refreshments.
The venue is the Ipswich and Suffolk Club ( www.ipswichandsuffolkclub.co.uk ) in the centre of Ipswich. A range of accommodation is available in and around Ipswich to suit your budget and preferences, from Travelodge, Premier Inn and Easyhotels in the centre of Ipswich, to Holiday Inn and Best Western's on the outskirts, and a range of private hotels, guest-houses and Air B&Bs.
